Van Hester

Vice President / Project Executive

Van Hester joined Lyle Parks, Jr., Inc. (LPJ) in 1997. He is a project executive with over 30 years of diverse construction experience. As a degreed construction engineer he has been involved with the management of complex projects ranging from Nuclear power plants early in his career to the most recent, complex retail and mixed use projects constructed over subterranean parking structures.

Mr. Hester is a vital part of the LPJ operation and has proven management skills and the ability to work with clients and their design teams through LPJ's Partner-Build approach.

His notable project work during his years at LPJ include the 30 acre Hesperia Gateway project, managing the Apple Valley Town Center anchored by a Target, as well as the accompanying widening of Highway 18 and Dale Evans Parkway, and overseeing the 1 million square foot master planned Riverwalk business park. Mr. Hester also managed several projects in Hollywood, CA including The Galaxy Theater Conversion, the 83,400 square foot Metro Hollywood Transit Village which consists of street-level retail, subterranean parking and a 4 level 60 unit low income apartment complex over the MTA Western/ Hollywood Blvd. subway station, and Hollywest a 450,000 square foot mixed use project with major retail anchors including Ralphs and Ross.
